The Czech Music Information Centre assembles documentation about contemporary Czech composers, musicians and events; keeps an archive of scores and recordings; mediates contacts and provides information about Czech musical life; organizes conferences, courses and concerts; and produces CDs and printed publications.

The Czech Music Information Centre publishes Czech Music Magazine - a quarterly in English, HIS Voice – a bimonthly magazine in Czech, and the Czech Music Directory Muzikontakt.

The Czech MIC recently realized a large CD publication: the Anthology of Czech Music.

The Czech MIC’s public archive, which maps the work of Czech composers from 1945 to the present, contains a large collection of scores and recordings on all types of recording media, and also books, magazines and journals, copies of articles and photographs.
