The Information Centre, launched by the Budapest Music Center in 1996 gives access to information on and related to Hungarian composers, musicians, ensembles, orchestras, music institutions and events through the internet.

The site of the Budapest Music Center offers visitors news and information on more than 4300 works of over 60 Hungarian contemporary composers, and nearly 1000 musicians and bands.

In the spring of 2003 the BMC Hungarian Music Information Centre began building a multi-media collection. Today, 800 contemporary music recordings have been digitalized in two formats and linked to the corresponding database entries.

Budapest Music Centre Records, established in 1998 has released over 100 Hungarian classical, contemporary and jazz albums. BMC releases are distributed officially in 20 countries worldwide.
