Mission Statement
IAMIC is an international network of organisations which document and promote the music of their country or region or a certain musical field. IAMIC's activities provide an international context for its members, providing services, encouraging development, encouraging collaborations and exchanges, and initiating projects that further the work of its members.
Vision
IAMIC envisions an international landscape where pathways to music information, products, publications and other materials is continually enhanced to provide users with the highest possible level of access.
Goals
- to encourage and enhance access to information, materials, and products provided by its members, and to encourage the performance, broadcast, and dissemination of music from members
- to encourage exchanges, collaborations, and the exchange of ideas, experiences and skills amongst its members, and to provide a range of relevant services to its members
- to play an active role in the broader international music environment, and raise the profile of IAMIC
