Minister of Culture of the Slovak Republic awarded Slovak personalities

Minister of Culture of the Slovak Republic annually awards Slovak personalities for their creative and artistic activities. Prizes for the year 2008 received six people, thereof two personalities from music section. For the excellent artistic results and succesful international representation was awarded young violin virtuoso Dalibor Karvay, and also outstandig bassist Sergej Kopcák received prize for his interpretation of Boris Godunov in the new inscenation, premiered in April 2008 in the Opera of Slovak National Theatre. Minister honoured for Kopcák´s magnificent artistic activity and representation of the slovak opera art on the world´s opera scenes.
