New information releases of the Music Centre Slovakia

Music Centre Slovakia has recently issued it´s annual periodicals. Musical Events in Slovakia 2009 is bilingual Slovak-English publication, which surveys various types of musical events in Slovakia. It comprises many entries with a short description, the date and venue, and contact addresses. The events are grouped according to genres: Festivals and Concert Series (Classical music, Brass-band music, Folklore, Jazz, Blues, Gospel, Rock-Pop, Folk, Country, Bluegrass, etc. World Music, Educational Concerts), Competitions, Conferences and Seminars, Courses and Master Classes, Exhibitions. The booklet includes an index and a calendar. The information bulletin Accent reflects the main events of music culture in Slovakia of the last year, brings attractive interviews with personalities of Slovak music and many other interesting reports. Shortly will be issued Slovak Music Directory with  useful contacts on personalities of Slovak music as well as Slovak cultural institutions and organizations.
