Festival Radovljica Joins European Early Music Network
The Réseau Européen de Musique Ancienne or European Early Music Network (REMA) accepted seven new members from Belgium, Croatia, Italy and Slovenia at its recent general meeting held at the French Ministry of Culture. At the urging of Klemen Ramovs of the SEVIQC Festival Brezice, a notable member of REMA and host of their annual forum last year, the gathering welcomed the Radovljica Festival, represented by artistic director Domen Marincic, into the network. With the new members, REMA now brings together 61 festivals from 19 countries under its umbrella. To make its work on the international early music scene more efficient the organisation has decided to divide itself up into seven regional groups; among them is the Comité National Slovénie/Croatie which will be led by Klemen Ramovs.
