Robert von Bahr first laureate of the Council of Nordic Composers

The very first prize of the Council of Nordic Composers goes to Robert von Bahr, CEO of the record company BIS. Mr von Bahr is the first recipient of the council's recently instituted prize for the advancement of contemporary Nordic classical, electro accoustic and art music.

The prize was awarded during the opening of the festival of the Council of Nordic Composers, Happy Nordic Music Days, on August 19, 2009 in Oslo, Norway.
