IAMIC Conference in Göteborg Sweden
Held June 18-23 and hosted by the Swedish Music Information Centre, this marked the first joint meeting between the International Association of Music Information Centres (IAMIC), the International Association of Music Libraries Archives and Documentation Centres (IAML) and the International Musicological Society (IMS). IAMIC Conference in Wellington June 19-23, 2007
The 2007 IAMIC conference will be hosted by IAMIC member organisation the Centre for New Zealand Music (SOUNZ). A programme of events and performances will also be arranged to coincide with the event.

IAMIC Winter Meeting in Nice January 19, 2007
IAMIC members are invited to participate in a winter meeting the 19th January 2007 in Nice. This date coincides with the beginning of MIDEM (21-25 January), and is an opportunity for IAMIC internal discussions and project planning.

New music ensemble Gageego! performed works selected from submissions by IAMIC member organisations as part of the 2006 IAMIC-IAML-IMS conference in Sweden.
EFA and IAMIC promote new music programming June, 2006


The European Festivals Association (EFA) and IAMIC have launched a collaborative project to promote new music programming.
The June edition of the EFA INFO BOX, an information resource delivered to over 100 international festival organisations twice a year, included contributions from IAMIC member organisations.
Selected materials for the June 2006 edition were provided by the Swedish Music Information Centre and Music Centre Slovakia, and included Phono Suecia recordings of contemporary music by Swedish composers, and programming information for 2006, the Year of Slovak Music.
