SIGIC was inaugurated in 2004 to promote the work of Slovene composers and performers across all genres of music.
SIGIC provides information to individuals and institutions on Slovene musicians, institutions, non-governmental organisations working in the field of music, as well as information on music publishing, education and research in Slovenia.
The SIGIC website offers information on upcoming musical events in Slovenia across all genres - classical, rock, pop, jazz, folk... as well as a database of information on contemporary composers, musicians and groups both past and present.
