The Swedish Music Information Centre, the Swedish Performing Rights Society's (STIM) information and documentation center for 20th and 21st century Swedish music promotes the performance of copyright-protected Swedish music.
Production for Phono Suecia records, founded in 1966, is managed by the Swedish Music Information Center, with online sales via the Swedish Music Shop.
Since 1965, the Swedish Music Information Centre has managed Edition Suecia which has published works by most of the important Swedish 20th century composers as well as the younger generation, with a catalogue now including over 150 composers.
The Swedish Music Information Centre also has about 14,000 manuscripts of unpublished works by Swedish composers available for sale as well as 3,500 unpublished Swedish symphonies and operas which can be hired for performances.
