New IAMIC Board Members

At our recent Conference and General Assembly in Latvia, IAMIC was delighted to welcome onto the Board two new members: Doris Weberberger (MICA) and Ward Bosmans (Kunstenpunt).

Doris studied musicology at the University of Vienna, specialising in contemporary music and cultural management, and worked as a music journalist before joining mica – music austria in 2012 as contemporary music consultant.

“Many thanks to the board members for the very warm welcome, I’m very happy to be part of it! Especially in politically challenging times, cultural exchange and the strengthening of networks is all the more important. I look forward to an intensive exchange about music life and business and the further development of joint strategies.”

Ward works at Kunstenpunt - Flanders Arts Institute, where he's responsible for sector support and international relations for classical music from Flanders and Brussels.

“I'm very happy to be able to contribute to IAMIC! It's a wonderful network of people who have their sectors best interests at heart, and the physical and digital meetups are a great way to exchange ideas and practices.”
